How to place washers & bearings
Tips:
– Always use M8 DIN 125 washers when using regular bearings.
– Position the washer with the rounded surface facing the frame and the flat surface facing the bearing.
– While holding both washers at the center of the wheel, slide half of the washer into the frame, then twist the wheel and maintain pressure while sliding it into position; this will help guide the washers into place.
– IMPORTANT! Do not use washers with IQON Gold bearings.
– IMPORTANT! Do not use IQON Gold wheel short spacers (golden); use the normal ones (silver) that came with the frame.
How to place adapters 165/Trinity
Tips:
– When using adapters, ensure you use the appropriate screw type. The most common one is M6, but some brands may utilize M7, M8, or even Whitworth 3/16, 5/16 (such as the FR red tool).
– Trinity Adapters require 28mm length heel screws.
– 165 Adapters require 25mm length heel screws.
